Wishon Village Policies

Site Assignment Policy:
Due to an updated reservation system and ongoing COVID-19 Requirements, site requests will no longer be an option, nor should they be expected. 
Please let us know in the Comments Box of the Reservation if you are with another party so we can attempt to get your party as close to each other as possible. 
Three days prior to your arrival date, a final site specific confirmation will be sent to the email address on file. Please know that we reserve the right to move any reservation as we deem necessary, prior to your arrival. As always, per Forest Service, all arriving guests must stop by the store to check-in and confirm the site number, BEFORE occupying any site. 

Arrivals and Departures

Arrivals:
Check-in time is at 2:00 pm. All early arrivals must have PRIOR approval before entering a site. All guests must check-in at the store before occupying a site.
Late Arrivals:
A list of guests, their sites, and a map will be posted each night at the store. Please stop and verify your site as we cannot absolutely guarantee specific site requests.
Upon arriving at your site, it is expected that all guests arriving late, especially once Quiet Hours are in effect, set up in a quiet manner so as not to disturb their neighboring guests. Please keep all voices and activity to a minimum. All guests arriving late are expected to check-in at the store the following morning by 9:00 am.
Departures:
Check out time is 12:00 pm, noon, no exceptions. We appreciate your help so we can prepare the site for the next guest.
Please leave the site as you found it. Excess trash, firewood, dog mess, etc. will not be tolerated.

Reservation Policies

Seasonal reservations – one month deposit is required. All other reservations – payment in full at the time of booking. Please note that all weekends require a 2-night minimum payment and all holiday weekends require a 3-night minimum payment, even if you are only staying for part of the weekend.
Standard rates include 4 people and 2 vehicles per night. Additional people, vehicles, and pets will be charged accordingly. Please check the Rates Page for more details. Vehicles are all autos and boats not including the RV. Boats will not be charged as additional vehicles if docking space has been purchased.
Each RV and Tent Site has a maximum occupancy of 6 people. The purchase of an additional site is required when site occupancy exceeds 6 people. All overnight visitors are to be reported to the office.
Site Assignments Wishon Village has always endeavored to locate each guest in their preferred site, but this convenience cannot be guaranteed and should not be expected in every circumstance. Ultimately, we reserve the right to assign all sites as we deem appropriate and, therefore, no site will be guaranteed until guest arrival.
SUBLETTING (Illegal) and Exchanging Sites: 

Current site and rental occupants shall not sublease or exchange their site, RV, or reservation with any other party for ANY reason.  The existing occupant must cancel their current reservation and vacate the site or rental to allow for a new guest to make a reservation of their own.  Once a site or rental has opened up, it may be booked at any time by anyone, in person, over the phone or online.  There is no guarantee that any interested party of the current occupant will receive the vacated site.
Children and Guests:

The individual who signed the form at check-in will be responsible for the actions and safety of their children and guests. We expect all parents and guardians to understand and inform their children of all policies that pertain to them.
While Wishon Village RV Resort makes every reasonable effort to safeguard its guests and their property, the Resort assumes no liability for guests’ use of the Resort, its facilities, and equipment. Guests must take extra care in this natural forest setting and use it at their own risk.
Additional Electrical Appliances:
Charges will be applied for all electrical appliances that are plugged into an alternate power source at the pedestal. These can include such items as refrigerators, freezers, ice makers, heaters, etc.
Truck Campers:
By California law, all truck campers MUST remain on the vehicle at all times.

Cancellation Policies

Short-Term RV Sites & Tent Site Reservations (13 days or less): Reservations canceled, shortened, or requiring a change of dates, prior to 10 days of the scheduled arrival date, will pay a fee of $10.00 per site. Reservations canceled, shortened, or requiring a change of dates within 10 days of the scheduled arrival date will ALSO be charged a one-night stay (per site). Cancellations made within 72 hours (3 days) of the scheduled arrival date will not receive a refund.
Rental Units: All rental unit reservations canceled, shortened, or requiring a change of dates, prior to 10 days of the scheduled arrival date, will pay a fee of $50.00 per reservation. Reservations canceled, shortened, or requiring a change of dates within 10 days of the scheduled arrival date will ALSO be charged a one-night stay. Cancellations made within 72 hours (3 days) of the scheduled arrival date will not receive a refund.
Longer-Term Reservations (2 weeks or more): A $50.00 fee will be charged for ALL reservations canceled, shortened or requiring a change of dates prior to 10 days of the scheduled arrival date. Reservations canceled within 10 days of your arrival date will be charged a fee of one week’s stay. Cancellations made within 72 hours (3 days) of the scheduled arrival date will not receive a refund.
Cancellations for weather are subject to cancellation policies and are not a reason for refund. 
Day of Arrival Cancellations or No Shows will receive no refund.
Cancellations made within 72 hours (3 days) of arrival will receive no refund.
There are no full or partial refunds for late arrivals, early departures, or no shows.

Campground Manners and Policies

Campsite Manners:
Common courtesy is expected from all of our guests. Do not walk through or cut across any occupied site and do not climb up and down the rock walls. Use walkways and roads only. Always respect other guests, their sites, and personal property. Outside noises are expected to be kept at a reasonable level at all times.
Quiet Hours:
Quiet Hours are appreciated by us, our staff, and our guests, we all deserve a peaceful night.
Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am.
Failure to comply will result in immediate removal from the park without refund.
All children under the age of 18 MUST be on-site and supervised by parents by 10:00 pm. Out of respect for your neighboring guests, please do not leave vehicles idling early in the morning.
Outdoor Movies:
Outdoor movies may be shown in our campground if they are PG or G rated ONLY, and they must be kept at a very low volume as to not disturb your neighbors.
Speed Limit:
There is a strict speed limit of 10 mph in the park for the safety of all our guests. This applies to ALL vehicles, motorized or not. Examples include but are not limited to motor vehicles, bicycles, motor scooters, and remote control vehicles.
Vehicles: Street Legal, Motorized
All vehicles are expected to remain completely within the site or in our overflow parking areas only.
There is to be no parking in front of any dumpsters, in any roadways, in front of the emergency exit gate by RV 37, or in any empty sites (unless paid for) at any time.
Anyone operating a motor vehicle must have a valid driver’s license.
Vehicles: Non-Street Legal, Motorized
Per Forest Service Regulations, non-street legal vehicles brought in by guests CANNOT be driven in the park under any circumstances. Violators will be turned in to law enforcement.
Vehicles can be unloaded at the RV site only and must not leave the site under its own power. All vehicles must be legally delivered to proper trailheads before riding.
Bicycles, Skateboards and All Other Means of Non-Motorized Transportation:
The 10 mph speed limit shall be observed at all times.
Double-riding is not allowed and guests under the age of 18 must wear helmets when riding bicycles.
All non-motorized vehicles must be ridden on the streets or in their site ONLY. Vehicles are not to be ridden in empty sites, sites occupied by other guests, on sidewalks, near building entryways, or on the store blacktop. Guests also must not build ramps or jumps of any kind. Jumping off the tent platforms or rock walls that separate one RV site from another will not be tolerated.
Pets:
Pets love camping too and we are happy to have your well-mannered furry little friends. All pets must be kept on a lease or chain AT ALL TIMES according to the Fresno County leash law.
Barking dogs will not be tolerated and pets are NEVER to be left unattended. We expect all pet owners to be responsible for cleaning up after their pets or they will risk removal from the park without a refund. We value the beauty of our park and would very much appreciate it if you would do the same. Pets are not allowed in the store, the restroom buildings, the laundry room, or in the Rental Units. By California law, you are strictly liable for injuries caused by your pet.
Campfires:
Controlled campfires are allowed in the provided fire pits ONLY and must never be left unattended.
Use the fire pits at your own risk. You are responsible for any injury or property damage. Wishon Village assumes no liability for any accidents, injuries, or damages incurred.
Always practice fire safety and completely extinguish campfires before retiring for the evening or departing for home. Use water from the regularly available spigots, please do not fill the fire pit with dirt and rocks.
Smoking:
Smoking is not allowed in the store, outside restrooms, or in the laundry room.
We love the beauty of our park, so please discard cigarettes properly. Do not toss them on the ground.
Alcohol:
EXCESSIVE DRINKING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND IS GROUNDS FOR IMMEDIATE REMOVAL FROM OUR PARK WITHOUT A REFUND. It is your responsibility to consume alcoholic beverages responsibly and in a way that will not disrupt other guests.
Security:
We have staff patrolling the park 7 nights a week in addition to constant patrols by Forest Service Law Enforcement. Guests are encouraged to inform any of our staff of anything disruptive they see. Guests causing disruptions or violating park policies will be referred to Forest Service Law Enforcement immediately.
Wildlife:
Our park is located in a natural forest setting. On occasion, wild animals are seen from time to time. These animals can include deer, bear, raccoons, etc. Guests should keep their distance from any wild animal and never feed them. Please inform us of any animal sightings.
Fishing:
Unfortunately, there is not a fish cleaning station at our park.
Please clean your fish at the lake before returning to camp.
Do not throw any fish parts in the dumpsters or down the sewer drains.
Generators:
Generators are not allowed at Wishon Village Resort.

Pontoon Boat Rentals and Dock Policies

Mandatory Deposit for Pontoon Boat Rentals:

A refundable hold of $500.00 will be applied to the credit card on file 24 hours prior to the day of rental.  Guests whose credit card on file does not accept this hold will not be given a boat rental. Any boat not rented the day of due to failure to comply with this hold will not be refunded. 

The hold is removed in full if:

  • The boat and all equipment is returned in its original condition, as it was at the time of departure.
  • The boat is returned as clean as it was when it was rented.
  • The boat was returned on time.
  • Your actions/damages, etc. on the boat did not result in a loss of future rental income.

Reimbursement for damage, cleanliness, etc. is at the sole discretion of Wishon Village, Inc.  Cleanliness, for example, includes but is not limited to, dirt and mud on the floor, walls, and seats of the boat, fish blood, spilled food, trash, etc.
Damage, for example, includes but is not limited to, damage to the propeller, motor, pontoons, walls, seats, steering and drive controls, rod holders, life vests, canopy, etc.

Failure to comply with any of the above will result in revocation of the $500.00 deposit and may include additional fees as deemed necessary for any and all additional expenses and/or loss of income incurred as a result of your rental period.  Loss of future rental and/or notification of the proper authorities may occur as well.

  • Minimum automatic charge of $100 for a rental boat not returned clean.
  • Minimum automatic charge of $100 for a rental boat not returned on time.
  • Minimum automatic charge of $300 for a rental boat returned in damaged condition. 

Additional Info:

  • 1/2 Day Rentals are morning and afternoon only. Morning rentals are 8 am to noon. Afternoon rentals are 1 pm – 5 pm. No 1/2 day rentals shall occur mid-day.  No return times can be adjusted. 
  • No partial refund will be given if the guest chooses to begin rental later than 8 am or 1, or if the rental is returned prior to noon or 5 pm.
  • Full Day Rental is from 8 am to 5 pm.  Guest can either be at the dock at 8 am or must verify with the store what time they will meet at the lake for the rental. 
  • Failure to show up at the agreed upon time will result in the revocation of any future boat rental.
  • Arriving for a rental with more people than the boat will allow, or allowing too many people on board while the boat is in your possession, will result in loss of rental, without refund, and loss of any future rental.
  • *Rental boats and dock slips are provided to each guest by Wishon Village Staff.  Guest preference regarding rental boats or dock slips is not allowed.

Overnight Boat Slips:

  • Reservations are required before the boat is to be taken to the dock.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

One-Way Shuttle Service:

  • Based on boat availability only, no exceptions.  Many factors are included in “availability,” including the size of the party and gear being shuttled, date and time, pontoon boat availability, etc.
  • No shuttle service on Saturdays, unless party is small and approval is made beforehand.
  • Any AM shuttle must return to the dock by 11:30 am and cannot depart until after 8:30 am. 
  • Any PM shuttle cannot depart until after 1:30 pm or must return by 4:30 pm.
  • $50 each way, $100 automatic late fee if you are not ready to depart or return at the scheduled time.

    Pontoon Boat Policies:

  • Payment in full is due upon booking.
  • All boats are based on a maximum allowable occupancy. A 6 person boat will not be allowed to have 7 people, no exceptions, no matter the age of passengers.
  • Please adhere to the 15 mph speed limit posted at the lake.
  • No BBQ’s allowed on the boat.
  • Pets are allowed as long as they are cleaned up after.
  • Absolutely No Towing of any kind allowed behind the boat.
  • The minimum age to rent a boat is 18. At least one member of the rental party must be at least 21 years of age unless prior approval has been given.
  • Please adhere to the 15 mph speed limit posted at the lake.

Facilities Policies

Laundry:
Laundry facilities are located in the restroom building in the lower RV campground. Quarters are available in the store.
Trash:
Please place all trash completely inside the dumpsters. We like our park looking clean and would appreciate this as animals will spread trash all over the place if left out. Never leave trash on the ground anywhere in the camp.
Please leave empty cardboard boxes next to the dumpsters for us to pick up.
Restrooms:
We have two restroom facilities that are cleaned daily at 9 am and 10 am. Please help us keep our restrooms clean and inform us if you notice any issues or if they need attention.
Restrooms are only available to customers with reservations. Quarters are available at the store for the showers. 

WIFI

WIFI is available through a 3rd party for an additional fee. Directions on how to sign up are available at the reservation desk.

IMPORTANT:
WIFI calling will only work if you ENABLE WIFI CALLING while you are still in cell service. Please enable your WIFI calling before arrival if you need to make any phone calls. There are no payphones or public phones available for use. Streaming is not allowed, please download your movies or TV shows before arrival as streaming here is extremely slow, and limits other guests’ usage of the WIFI. Be Courteous.
Our WIFI should not be expected to stream or video call. We provide basic WIFI with internet access for our guests to go online, text, email, and call.

Wishon Village RV Resort reserves the right to refuse service or to remove anybody without a refund who we feel is disrupting the RV experience we strive to offer.
We also reserve the right to amend, revise, and add to these rules and regulations
at any time. Determinations made in enforcing or interpreting these rules and
regulations are at the sole discretion of the management of Wishon Village.
